PHYSICAL REHABILITATION PROGRAMME - 2023 ANNUAL REPORT

This review of the Physical Rehabilitation Programme’s worldwide activities in 2023 provides an illustrated, region-by-region overview of how the ICRC helps people with disabilities, victims of armed conflicts and other violence, participate fully in society. Regaining mobility is an important step towards having the same opportunities as other members of society. It can mean enjoying such basic rights as access to food, shelter and education, finding a job and earning an income. Our initiatives in sport and career development bring a new dimension to the lives of people affected by armed conflict and other violence who are often marginalized due to their physical condition.
